What began as a small gathering has grown into one of Brisbane’s defining voices - a reflection of its roots and a movement that continues to push culture forward.

VARNAN
VARNAN is a Brisbane-based DJ, curator, and event director who has been shaping dancefloors for over five years. His journey began with house music, but his sound has since evolved into a distinct global club approach - a blend of sharp edits, heavy percussion, and rhythms spanning from Brazil to West Africa.
As the founder and driving force behind Family Tree, one of Brisbane’s most forward-thinking club nights, VARNAN has carved out a space for global sounds in the city’s underground scene. The event has become a cultural hub, bringing together dancers, selectors, and community around the energy of diasporic club music.
OROSA
Orosa is a Filipino-Australian DJ, Curator and Music Producer hailing from Brisbane, Australia. Being a respected name in both Australia and the Philippines, he started from humble beginnings DJing at underground parties to playing at some of Australia’s best events.
Throughout his career, Orosa has played alongside the likes of; Gunna, $uicideboy$, Lil Tjay and Shoreline Mafia to name a few.
Incorporating a hybrid mix of eclectic song selection, creative mixing and stage presence, Orosa sets the standard high and is a true triple-threat.
NAT4SHA
NAT4SHA has been a dynamic force in the Brisbane DJ scene since 2017. With years of experience behind the decks, she has learned to adapt seamlessly to a variety of genres, from house, disco, UKG, hardgroove, trance, techno and global sounds like jersey, baile funk, amapiano and dancehall. Her set are a captivating blend tailored to each dancefloor, pairing crowd-reading intuition with a deep love of music.
zed mero
PNG born, Meanjin based Zed Mero is a staple in the local DJ scene and has been for over a decade. Zed’s style and skill is like no other and will have your head bopping and your heart melting.

DJ 808 is a selector known for her unpredictable creations, bringing unapologetic energy and empowerment to every space she commands. With a sound that spans hip hop, R&B, jersey club, baile funk, and global sounds, she creates moments of pure joy, nostalgia, and connection, driving the crowd to dance like there's no tomorrow.
jvme [dj & SAX]
A devoted student of sound and a creator with a clear artistic vision, JVME approaches music with curiosity, intention, and a deep respect for its ability to connect people.
Growing up in Meanjin/Brisbane, he developed a foundation in jazz saxophone that sharpened his ear for harmony, texture, and movement—skills that now define his ins3nc3ve approach to blending genres and creating seamless mixes.
JVME’s sets are shaped by a love for RnB, Neo-Soul, Electronic, and global rhythms, drawing from the warmth and groove of each style to create something both soulful and contemporary. His journey began with a simple desire to share music that felt honest and emotionally resonant, and that ethos continues to guide him today.
