Beloved Australian electro-pop juggernauts The Jungle Giants are bringing their trademark catalogue of floor-fillers to Southwave with an epic line up featuring 2charm, Sissy & Felix.
Their latest album ‘Experiencing Feelings of Joy’ is a transcendent pop opus that takes listeners on a beautifully euphoric and uplifting journey, even as it’s underlined by some of the most surprisingly raw and confessional lyrics that frontman Sam Hales has put to paper yet.
Taking on the Rainforest with their full band show, we reckon we’re all going to be Experiencing Feelings of Joy at this one.

2charm [LIVE]
2charm blends indie house heaven pop techno dubstep baile to make magic.
Sticky and playful vocal hooks abound, pairing beatific production with beautiful vocal melodies, delivering something that’s equal parts ecstasy and transcendence. 2charm’s music could be likened to the sparkle that bounces off sheened cheeks under dingy club lights, in the same way the Balearic sea shines in July.
sissy
sissy is a big sister and a scorpio and a dj from Brisbane.
Her sets blend hypnotic house, tribal percussion, acid-adjacent lines and deep grooves to create moments that teel equally alluring and playtul. Drawn to rhythm, tension and 'afters' energy, she moves between deep rollers, cheeky edits and sweaty club moments.
Equal parts emotional release, mischievous club pressure and deep groove, sissy builds sets that invite movement, connection and a little bit of chaos in all the right ways. With a sharp instinct for pacing and energy, expect the unexpected, a few left turns and plenty of moments that pull you deeper.
felix
Felix’s sets are never bound by a genre, only by groove and feel. Her eclectic yet refined selections are thoughtfully curated to complement the energy in a space, while subtly challenging the listener. This leads to dynamic sets that are a constant ‘on the fly’ journey.
Based in Meanjin/Brisbane, Felix often plays vinyl-only at a variety of venues and events. Her selections are rhythm-section-forward, spanning an extensive range of genres, from downtempo grooves and soulful house to breakbeat and jungle. Over her 7 years in the industry, Felix has supported a wide variety of local and international artists; notably Dr Banana, d.Tiffany, Liquid Earth, Demi Riquisimo, in2stellar, Cousin, Maara, Mabel, Sam Alfred, Nice Girl, Club Angel, and Mr. Ho.
